History
The First Grand Knight

Judge J A Mullligan would become the new young council's first Grand Knight.
Mulligan was known throughout the young city, and would become one of the first investors in a small newspaper, known today as the Sudbury Star. Back then he was also known as the best "criminal" lawyer in the North for his legal prowess at dissecting a case. On the bench he was known for his articulate ability and Irish wit which often moved juries to tears.
It was April 21,1908 and 60 to 90 men were joining monthly.
Growth was so rapid that men like Stephen Fournier, Larry O'Connor and P J O'Gorman soon joined the ranks.
